[FARC] New Winlink Access Node under construction

WL2K access will soon be available in Frederick.  The Callsign is WN3R-10 on
145.77 MHz simplex. Packet mode at 1200 baud.  The station is on the air
with a temporary antenna. Rig runs just 25 watts.  A new antenna will be
mounted at the 110 foot level on my tower which is located 5 miles north of
High Knob (Catoctin State Park). Tower elevation is 1750 feet.  If coverage
is satisfactory for general and emergency use, I will connect it to the
generator and add a 100 watt amplifier.

Please try to connect.  While the Airmail program is needed for "real" ham
email including internet email, you can connect to it with any packet modem
using a simple terminal program.

At the  "cmd:" prompt, enter "C WN3R-10" to connect.  After connecting,
enter "H" for the help menu, and "BYE" to disconnect. (do not use quotes)

Please send signal reports to wn3r at arrl.net.  The new antenna should go up
the end of next week.
