[FARC] Hamfest Help

Well, it's that time of year once again, when the call goes out for 
Volunteers to help out at the Father's Day Hamfest, Sunday June 17th at 
the Frederick Fairgrounds.


We still need help at both gates (General Admission and Tailgating) as 
well as for the all-important tear-down session on Sunday afternoon. 


Many of our usual mainstay volunteers from FARG, MADXRA and FARC have 
stepped forward to take on the very early shifts at the gates, but we 
still have a few openings for any early birds out there.


This year, anyone helping out at the Hamfest will receive a 
complimentary ticket.  You obviously won't need it to get in since 
you'll already be there as a volunteer, but it will give you a free 
chance to win one of our four ham rig main prizes: a Kenwood HF+6m 
transceiver, a 2m/70cm mobile rig, and two 2m HTs.  You'll be in the 
running for door prizes as well, once you get your ticket into the 
barrel.  And if that's not enough incentive, you'll also have the 
satisfaction of helping to keep a favorite Hamfest in this area going 
for another year!
