[FARC] FM Packet

Joe, my hardware connections are not ready to go. My Kenwood TS-2000 has an
internal TNC with serial port but my laptop computer has no serial ports,
only USB ports. I know adapter cables are available for USB to serial
conversion and my Rigblaster came with one, however it won't fit the
Kenwood's serial port. Additionally, the Kenwood TS-2000 manual has a
pretty involved chapter on Packet setup/TNC operation. Whereas PSK31 and
RTTY with the Rigblaster interface were simple to set up and configure,
Packet looks like a whole other can of worms.

I guess what I'm asking is, is using Packet worth the pain of setup and
configuration?
