THE THIRD ANNUAL MID-ATLANTIC QSO PARTY

The third annual Mid-Atlantic QSO Party (MAQP), an old-fashioned QSO
Party focused on Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York,
Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia and DC, will run from Saturday
May 13, 2006 at 1200 UTC until Sunday May 14, 2005 at 2400 UTC.
Activity will be on all amateur HF bands from 160 to 10 meters
(except WARC) and on the 50, 144, 222, and 440 MHz bands.

The MAQP is a competitive challenge with a low-pressure atmosphere.
In short, have fun and enjoy the event at your own level of
participation. All stations are welcome - single, multi, clubs,
mobile, whether running QRP or standard power up to 200 watts.

The committee offers certificates and plaques for Top Score in each
Mid-Atlantic state, Top Score for the entire Mid-Atlantic region, and
Top Score in each state, DX country, or VE province.

There are IMPORTANT new rule changes and MANY NEW MULTIPLIERS from
Virginia's independent cities, so PLEASE CHECK THE WEBSITE for new
information!

Popular contest logging software modules for the MAQP are already
available, and more are coming. Please visit the MAQP website at
http://www.maqp.info for full details, rules, maps, and forms, all
available for downloading. Or join our reflector at http://
mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/mid-atlantic_qso_party.

If you or your group or company would like to sponsor a plaque,
please contact us as soon as possible while there are still some
opportunities left!

Scott Galbraith, N3OK
