Hello all.  This past week I received a very nice flower arrangement from FARC and
this is to express my gratitude for your thoughts and well wishes.  My spinal operation went very well and recovery is progressing fairly well, a little faster than I had anticipated.  Sitting erect for extended periods is still a problem, but getting better now that physical therapy has commenced.

I also want to take this opportunity to express my thanks to everyone who helped with the FARC Father's Day Hamfest this year.  Many of you were not able to attend our dinner so did not hear my thanks there.  The heart and soul of any hamfest is the volunteers and others who help carry it off and the helpful/friendly attitudes are key to why people attend them and to why vendors show up.
