[FARC] FundRaiser/Dinner

Colleagues = As most of you know, KA3DYL and I have been subsidized with
one year contracts by Volunteer Frederick to support EmComm and related
activities in the local amateur radio community. Those of you who have
registered with RSVP or V/MRC can now report your hours spent in support
of EmComm or other public service (including teaching, repeater support,
&c) and we can use those figures to justify support from BoCC, State, and
Federal sources.

In February Brewers' Alley is offering to donate funds to VolFred as 20%
of one day's business and I'm suggesting that we take advantage of that
for a dinner with interested members of FARC, FARG, and MADXRA (I know,
plenty of overlap there). Funding VolFred feeds back to help for us, so I
thought that some of you might like to take advantage of this for "dinner
out" with some of the cash coming back to the agency that's helping us.

MADXRA usually gathers for dinner at 7PM and I get reservations ahead of
time so that the restaurant isn't swamped with surprise (!) drop-ins. If
you think it's a good idea, just let me know and I'll total up the number
who plan to descend on Brewers' Alley at 7 PM on 7 February from the
Amateur Radio Community.
