FARC Holiday Party Announcement



It's that time of year again, and the Frederick Amateur Radio Club will be
holding it's annual Holiday Party and Gift Exchange on Monday, December
18th, at the China Wok Restaurant, 1305 W. Seventh St. here in Frederick.
The restaurant is the same as last year, and is in the Frederick Shopping
Center between Giant Eagle and Ashley's Furniture. The festivities begin at
6:30 PM and family and friends are welcome. The cost of the buffet (w/o crab
legs) including beverage should be approx. $8.00.

As in past years, we will also be having our traditional Gift Exchange for
those wishing to participate. Just bring a wrapped "something" valued at
between $5 and $10 to join in the fun. Numbers are then drawn to determine
the picking order, and "theft" is permitted by subsequent participants! This
is always one of the highlights of the evening, and creativity of gift
giving is encouraged.

Please try and email or call me by Sat. the 16th so that I can give the
restaurant an idea of the head count. Don't sweat it if you can't commit by
then - just show up!
