The August meeting of the Frederick Amateur Radio Club will be held on Mon.
the 21st, 7PM, at the Animal Control building on Rosemont Ave.

Our program this month will be Joe Durnal N3PAQ, who will talk on APRS.
Thanks go to Joe, Eric N8AAY, Scott N3MVV, Bill N3TCR, Jackie WB3KDS and
others who helped make our participation in this year's MDC QSO Party a
success. An impressive number of contacts were made last Saturday and Sunday
at the club station, and we should know by next month how we ranked in the
club category. Good work!

We will also hear about the state ARRL convention, and how our Hamfest did
this year.

Next month we will be visited by our area ARRL head, Jim Cross WI3N, who
will update us on happenings at the League level.

FYI - Our 146.640 repeater is back on the air following repairs.
