The Laurel Amateur Radio Club (LARC) is delighted to announce that
the guest speaker at the LARC Holiday Banquet (on Sunday,
December 4, 2005, 4:00 pm - 7:30 pm) will be Mr. RFI himself ...

Mike Martin, K3RFI

Mr. Martin owns and operates the RFI locating & consulting firm
called "RFI Services."

He's been locating interference sources and training Power & Telecom
companies, full time, for over 20 years and solves an average of
500 interference complaints a year.

He takes advantage of the opportunity to test all RFI locating
equipment and makes recommendations to the manufacturers for
improvements.

Mr. Martin has received acknowledgments in many publications including:

  AC Power Interference Handbook
  AC Power Interference Manual
  Power Line Interference, A Practical Handbook
  Popular Mechanics
  T&D Magazine
  The American Radio Relay League Journal

He is multi-licensed by the FCC and considered to be the most
experienced Interference Investigator in the country.

Mr. Martin will entertain us with an interesting multimedia show
including slides, sounds and anecdotes of what he has encountered in
his search of radio frequency interference sources during his career.
