FARC Holiday Party Announcement


It's that time of year again, and the Frederick Amateur Radio Club will be
holding it's annual Holiday Party and Gift Exchange on Monday, December
19th, at the China Wok Restaurant, 1305 W. Seventh St. here in Frederick.
The restaurant is in the Frederick Shopping Center between Giant Eagle and
Ashley's Furniture, and the festivities begin at 6:30 PM. Family and friends
are welcome, and the cost is $8.00 per person for the buffet which includes
beverage. FARC will be picking up tax and tip for this event.

As in past years, we will also be having our traditional Gift Exchange for
those wishing to participate. Just bring a wrapped "something" valued at
between $5 and $10 to join in the fun. Numbers are then drawn to determine
the picking order, and "theft" is permitted by subsequent participants! This
is always the highlight of the evening, and creativity of gift giving is
encouraged.

Please email or call me by Saturday the 17th so that I can give the
restaurant a final head count.
