Special News Flash: Field Day Festivities! 

The MARC Field Day Committee is pleased to announce 
that Field Day Festivity planning is well underway! 
We are looking for a few good club members (actually 
lots of good members) that can help supply items for 
the June 25-26 Field Day Festival at the Montgomery 
County College in Germantown. We need YOU to ensure a 
fun and successful day. 

If you have anything that you can loan the club for 
that weekend or want to help with setting up, logging, 
cooking, making coffee, telling stories of how it was 
done in the past, or operating a station (I almost 
forgot that), just e-mail me with what you have or can 
do. The more members that can help by volunteering 
time, supplies, use of equipment, etc., the better the 
event! 

What are the rules? We’ll go into detail during the 
MARC meetings however a few very important rules to 
note this year is that nothing will be accepted at the 
site that does not have the owners name and/or call 
sign on it and that it must be picked up at the end of 
Field Day. All items left may be marked the property 
of MARC. 

So what’s the game plan? We’ll share that and other 
important “intel” during the next few MARC meetings. 

The committee and interested others are very excited 
about Field Day this year and if your club has nothing 
planed, then come on out to the MARC Field Day!
