Additionally, I would like to pass along that long time
FARC club member, John ( Pat ) Patton, W3FRV, has been in
the Northhampton Nursing Home as he is dying of cancer. I
visited with Pat while he was there and we talked of days
long past: motorcycling, model airplanes, the FARC motorhome
project and ham radio in general. Pat was just recently
moved to the Hospice home where Liz can be with him. I'm
not sure of visitation rules for the Hospice home but anyone
wishing to see Pat could probably get details by calling
Hospice of Frederick County and inquiring. Pat was a longtime
personal friend to many here in Frederick and was a "sparkplug"
with the Frederick Amateur Radio Club since the beginning.
