[FARC] CLUB MEETING

Jim,
I am sorry that I could not get to the radio club meeting last week. My
wife, Marilyn, is having more medical problems and there was no one who
could stay with her. We flew to New Hampshire on vacation in October and she
became very ill with double pneumonia.  We had to take her back to Baltimore
by ambulance and she had more back surgery. She is improving slowly.

What  happened with the radio club meeting?  What decisions were made about
the meeting place and when?

I still hope I can have you over to see the shack before very long.   Oh, I
did work a real gem, JT1CO, in Mongolia in the very rare WAZ zone 23.
Worked him on 15 meter CW.  Just  happened to hear him calling CQ and was
the first to reply to him. Got a very beautiful QSL from him. I now need
only Viet Nam, Thialand, Cambodia or  the Spratly Islands to complete my
WAZ.
