Hello All,
If you have not been able to do testing or use the Gainesville RMS it is because we have taken the switch down for upgrades. It will be back soon, hopefully with the UHF backbone. As far as the rest of the FADCA world I have not heard boo out of this SIG for a long time, is anyone alive? Hopefully you all are doing well.
I have been a bit busy with the clearing the house of two tv shops and half of my electronics lab excess stuff so that I can get back into doing my projects, and clearing the house of the X-xyl lol, so I have been very busy with a new acquaintance.
Hope everything is operational across Fla, we still need to think about new hams getting involved, so us older hams do not have to be doing everything. Hope to see you all doing Field Day, and there is a State operation going on in June call Operation Freedom at Camp Blanding that will be using Radio Email and other data for tasks.
Hot Topics of Interest:
Also make sure that you all are fighting the Bill in Congress taking away our UHF spectrum selling it to commercial vendors.

Another to protest and make sure everyone knows about is LightSquared LTE Broadband systems that FCC has pushed through, that will destroy our GPS network around the country. Lightsquared has been given the green light so they will say they will work on it but since its already being deployed it will be a BPL issue all over again.
