Subject changed from RE [FADCA] Trip to Boston

John -

I don't believe that relates to Federal IRS 501(c)3 - just to the
annual registration with the State of Florida as a (not-for-profit)
Corporation. I have been paying that fee every year since I took over
as sec/treasurer. (Previous sec/treas had let it drop for three years
but then donated enough funds to let us catch up.)

Our WVARS club has been doing that registration for years - but just
in the past year 'went' 501(c)3 by making a complex application with
the IRS - I was not the one doing the paper work - one of the
member's XYL is a professional and I believe she took care of it.

I don't find anything in the history of FADCA that would indicate
501(c)3 status - but the history I have only goes back a little prior
to the year 2000.

Consequently I've never done any sort of annual filing with IRS for
FADCA - which I believe is required - I'll check with my WVARS guy and
check that out for sure - or someone on this list may know for sure.

I just got the minutes of the FADCA meeting at HamCation to free for
posting on the fadca.org website. He should be making any changes on
the lists there as indicated once Phil lets us know which e-mail
address he wants to use.

Are you receiving messages from the fadca at mailman list now? I went to
the site and got an entire list of those on the list so I can clean up
some e-mail addresses here - and you are on it AT arrl.net

Thanks,

bud
