TO: FADAC Members - and others interested in data communications.

Deltona, FL
Sunday January 31, 2010

HI, All -

Looking forward to seeing everyone at Orlando HamCation 2010. We
will try to have some sort of a FADCA get-together on Saturday in
conjunction with the N FL ARRL WL2K Forum. Check the
www.hamcation.org website for time/place details but currently it is
listed as

Saturday 1230 - 1330 North Florida Section Winlink2K Forum in the
Lakeside Pavilion Classroom

I will be moderating that Forum - I'll present a 15-20 minute status
of the Florida Layered Packet network and WL2K system support for the
state. A short Q&A session will follow - if you have any specific
Network concerns or updates that would be the time to be available.
After that the forum will be open to anything regarding WL2K /
EMCOMMs. Note we cannot continue past 1330 hours.

If you have any FADCA-specific concerns please bring them to my
attention prior to Wednesday Feb 3rd. I can add them to the agenda
for the FADCA BOD meeting and you should plan on being at the BOD
meeting to present them.

Any FADCA member may attend the BOD meeting.

The FADCA BOD meeting will be held at 1330 hrs immediately following
the WL2K Forum. It will be held in John Green's (WB4MOZ) motor home.
The motor home will likely be near where it has been parked for the
last few years. I'll try to get an e-mail out to everyone no later
than Friday morning the 12th with details once I get them from John.

As a FADCA TALK we'll use 145.70 SIMPLEX. Use a 103.5 (TX and RX) PL
or you will likely not be answered! There is a lot of intermod during
such a large ham meeting and no need to have that racket on our radios
all the time. WB4MOZ will also be monitoring 446.950, pl 103.5 on.

Looking forward to seeing all at HamCation.

73,
