[FADCA] Modifying Consumer Off the Shelf Wireless LAN devices for specialized amateur use

I have a few Linksys routers that I have been able to converted to Linux and
seem to work real well.

Currently I am working with DD-WRT x86 distro and I have a node built that
will cover 2312mhz - 2732mhz
802.11b/g channels. It a Atheros base chipset that support 802.11N but not
supported under DD-WRT yet.

This node is setup to support my AMPRnet (44-net) network.

Since they run Linux they are great to work with for guys like us and GUI
interface work well for those
That don't know linux.

The average range is about 20 mile Line of sight.

I know at our meeting in Orlando we were looking for a project and maybe
it's time FADC spend some of 
the money we have.

I would be glad to volunteer my time with any interested parties.
