Hi Everyone,
The clock is ticking for the Orlando Hamfest. I will be there Friday at
Noon or around there. I noticed that the Forum schedule does not have
FADCA on there, is there anything I can do to help. Do we need to make
contact with them for the available space left and set it up. I'll be
glad to get the spot even if we don't use it.
Let me know,
Phil KE4PWE

Hi, Charles -
I've not made a general announcement as the plans are not set yet. We
are trying to coordinate, perhaps combine (in some fashion) some of
the forums/meetings in order to accommodate those with interest in
meetings that often have been scheduled at the same time. The general
plan is-
1. I'll present a five to ten minute packet network update/status
report including WL2K devices during the N. FL. ARRL Section meeting
or the AREAS meeting. FADCA members and others interested in packet
networking and WL2K support should attend. This will keep from trying
to also hold a FADCA FORUM.
2. We'll have a FADCA Membership meeting that does not coincide with
the meeting above. We should be able to include at that time a more
detailed discussion of any network details that would generally not
interest others at the meeting above.
3. We will hold a FADCA BOD meeting - but it cannot be scheduled until
1 above is.
I have solicited input from all FADCA District Directors as to the
overall status of the network in their areas including links between
switches, devices, and particularly WL2K e-mail access.
I'll get the word out as soon as I know the scheduling details.
73,
bud N0IA
