All,
Certain facts still remain the same and can't be sugar coated as our so
called Florida Layered Networks have been slowly deteriorating for
years. As with most Ham radio networks they are experimental with this
in mind how much longer do we keep telling our self what we are
currently doing is working.
When in fact it's not!
Connect in to any Fpac node and list the node table then try and connect
to a
nodes in that table. I think you will find that less then 50% are
actually routable
and/or connectable at any given time. These are *FACTS* that speak for
them
self and that everyone can see are obvious. If you were to compare that
with a
Flexnet node you will find more then 98% of the destinations works and
don't
require any special routing.
Test it for yourself telnet to xnet.kd4yal.ampr.org and see the
difference.
I have in *FACT* spoke of other thing that could help our networks but
they just
seem to get buried in the tread and never commented on. As I already
stated
I will continue to push forward working around Fpac and/or finding new
way to
link to it with solution that work or will improve the over all use of
Florida Layered Networks.
Best regards, Jerry DeLong, KD4YAL
