It is with deep regrets that I inform you of the passing of Gary Vickers. I
just spoke with Maureen and extended to the family on behalf of you and his
entire county family our prayers and offer of support. We will let you know
of service arrangements as soon as they are known.

Gary Vickers, The Director of Emergency Management for Pinellas County who
was severely injured in a one car auto accident about one month ago has died
today from his injuries.

Sally Bishop, Deputy Director for Emergency Management has been the Acting
Director while Gary was in the hospital and she should continue in that role
in the foreseeable future.
