I am sure you can use whatever you like.
Personally, I dislike AirMail and use Paclink which integrates nicely into
outlook -- so my outlook has several 'normal' email accounts and two Wl2K
accounts (one mars and one ham).  They look the same, they just use
different devices for sending/receiving.

Since most of the Rose/Fpac nodes are now being setup using Linux why waste
the time using Winlink & Telpac?

Why not use Sendmail, Qmail with an Outlook client?
