[FADCA] MARS co-located HAM

I intend to work with Sal  - and we are to some extent already -- I send him
a note from time to time, and Jim keeps him up to date.  We are taking baby
steps with MARS --  to be  honest, I was only interested in bringing up a
telpac node for WL2K access for ARMY,  but AFA1SX is very much interested
and helping (a lot) on this whole thing and wants the air force interests
included -- so for the MARS side - it is me and ted  ( AAR4WJ and AFA1SX
or W4RP  K1YON)

So MLB will be the 'proof' of concept.  And yes, this can be exciting - -I
think it will work, and we can rebuild florida's mars digital network, and
provide joint service interoperability.

This has my interests peeked now... I have forwarded the last
4 emails about the MLBRN site and what not to Sal in Celebration,
he is the AF SMD and this may prove to be a valuable asset to
all MARS branches.... Keep the posts coming... Hopefully when BARTOW
comes on line (which has been pushed back now to later 07') the
bugs and things will be worked out enough that a co-located system
will be here in Polk as well, WHICH will bridge the East to the West a
little
more stronger then going up and across to Port Richey to the next node
on the MARS PACKET network...
