There are also allot of other "digital" modes other than Winlink. :)

PSK31 is sweet for anyone with a soundcard.

Hi, Keeting...

Good question - as you know my 'bag' is digital applications to EMCOMMs - so
the only thing I can recommend is to introduce them to the Winlink 2K E-mail
over ham radio system. You are welcomed to copy/save any of the Power Point
shows on the FADCA website and use them in total or print what ever you
might need. You will find three on the opening page http://www.fadca.org/

Of interest in order are:

Winlink 2000 - Introduction and History

(Though that one has some 'busy' slides it is a short one.)

E-mail Over Ham Radio - How do Hams Do That?

and

Making WL2K Work in Florida

Since most people (especially those under 40) are well into computers these
days, the E-mail over Ham Radio is a natural to get them excited in
combining Ham Radio and computers - for EMCOMMs and personal use.
