I wanted to get a quick view of what was going on with telpac, so I added
a command to my fpac commands. It is STTEL and it dumps the last 20
lines of the telpac.log file, that way I can get a idea of how much activity
there has been on telpac just by issues a quick command. If you want to
see what it looks like, go to the kp4djt fpac switch and at the command
prompt issue the command STTEL and you will get it.
If you are interested in adding it to your switch commands, here is what
mine looks like, it is in the fpac.conf file
STTEL = /usr/bin/tail -n 30 /var/log/telpac.log
If you decide to do the same thing just make sure your tail command is in
the same directory, same goes for the telpac.log file. If any are different just
change the command structure to fit your machine file layout.

"the only dumb question is the one you DID NOT ask resulting in my going
out and having to identify your bits and pieces in the midst of torn
