Charlie-
I registered the W4MLB-10 Telpac Node at winlink.org. On the Telpac Map
http://www.winlink.org/positions/telpacpos.aspx it is plotting about 40
miles too far north, but I'll fix that later by getting a more detailed grid
square value. I set myself up as the sysop contact - once we get some more
active users on the Melbourne LAN someone else can take that over. I'll
send Vic and the W4MLB trustee the password, etc, to be able to edit the
registration if necessary.
I also put a BEACON in the ax25-up file - I need to learn how to make
perhaps two separate beacons - one general and one announcing the Telpac
node, etc., etc.. Can I do that by using an additional BEACON line?
Is there a way from fpacnode (or sysop) to force a beacon for testing?
Earlier last week I did work on some general user 'how to' files for the
Orlando host and will continue polishing those over the next week or so.
Once they look okay for general use they may be used as templates for other
sites.
I checked Orlando and Melbourne and all NoWP values have been set to 1 -
guess you took care of that earlier.
