[FADCA] Upgrading or Migrating?

Upgrading from one version of Knoppix HD install to another can be a 
real adventure! This weekend I dreamed up a scheme to make upgrading 
less painful.

There are only two directory branches that contain the sum total of the 
node's personality. The trick is to roll the two branches into tarballs 
and save for reserection on the other side.

The two branches are /var/ax25 & /etc/ax25/. Previous to this I have 
been SCPing the two branches from one box to another. That works great 
if you are migrating from one box to another.

I'll post the How-to alittle later after I've had a chance to cleanup my 
notes and hear from Charlie, N3PPC, as to how his adventure proceeded.
