there will be plenty of internet connection for the node
once it is moved to the tower site... it will be on
a fiber line with plenty of room for some 10Kb files to
zip around...
I will see what all goes on.
Thanks Chuck.

Just use ( you are on the fpacnode when you do this are you not?)
c w4min-8
But that will fail see below.... Try some of the others (see below again)

Evans,
I think that the problem is two fold. If you see a node in the nodes list
like
w4min-8 just do the following at the fpacnode command prompt:
c w4min-8
In this case I think it is failing because ax25ipd has not been setup as I
do not see either one of your calls in the M list of the other. I just tried
to
connect from one end to the other and get a failure.
Charlie is probably still working on the machine in that sense and so
still has some work to do to get all of you axip connections up.
When you connect to the fpacnode when you issue a Nodes command
you can attempt to connect to the node calls you see in the nodes list like
so:
c kp4djt-8
White pages will jump in and add the X.121 address and then the net-
work will try to get you there. Try some of the other node calls like
kc8vab-8, f6bvp-10, vk2tv-1, n4plz-8, f5kbw-8. Just try them and see
which ones come back. Some of them are routing issues and others
are no longer on the air, or are intermittent.
Let WP do the work, unless you need to force routing. If you do want
to connect to w4min, connect to say kp4djt-8 and then connect to w4min-8
it will work for you. Give charlie a chance to fix the routing issues and
you will soon have the connectivity. Hope you guys can get RF between
you and the wire becomes a fallback, same goes for the link from Ta

to you. We should soon have a computer to replace the one at the switch
site now, get it set up and some radios on it and we should be able to
do that link to you on RF as the primary link.
