[FADCA] FADCA Database and FRC

I received the FRC newsletter today and in the President's Message it says
some FRC Board of Directors would like to see FADCA rejoin the FRC and
combine the FADCA Data Base with the FRC Data Base.

I oppose that position.

If they would just check our Data Base before coordinating a repeater or
accepting a repeater LINK frequency that is all that is needed. Also if they
would make the LINK information available to the FADCA database manager and
frequency coordinator, that is all that is needed for the FADCA database
manager to check and see if a requested or suggest link would be on the same
frequency as an existing LINK.

For years I had asked for the information from their LINK listing and for
them to check our on line DATA base (where there are no SECRET allocations)
before the accept a link from a repeater owner both systems would be fine.

The FRC asks for approval of a Repeater Coordination along the Fla, Alabama,
Mississipp or Georgia borders before approving a repeater coordination. Why
can't they simply check our on line data base or even send a note to the
FADCA data base manager BEFORE taking action.

We have numerous repeaters in District 7 that have links on frequencies in
the FADCA band plan and NO ONE ever asked or even LOOKED at the FADCA
database BEFORE they PUT a LINK on one of the FADCA frequences. IN
ADDITION, they have put links within the 100 khz wide frequencies for high
speed data.

Everytime I have asked the FRC data base manager for information on LINKS he
has never responded. They create the problem, not us.

The FRC should REQUIRE the FRC Database Manager and Frequency Coordinator to
share information with the FRC database manager and Frequency Cooridnator
BEFORE taking any action regarding coordination.

They have said the Repeater Owners are to submit the frequencies of their
links so the FRC can avoid coordinating a repeater on someone's link
frequency. What are we, NON EXISTENT?. Why don't they check our database
that is on line and NOT SECRET BEFORE the coordinate a Repeater.
