Yes, several of us are using the Linux application version of TelPac. Indeed
Linux allows the app to appear as both a user on the LAN channel where
the user connects to the application as though it was a stand alone station,
or it can also be reached as a network facility.

As far as echolink, I do not know what to say, IRLP runs on Linux and I suppose
you could use it. Seems like that a good VoIP app should come about that is
not limited to only a particular network.
