Hi Gang,

I made the trip to Sarasota today to see what was wrong with the N4SER 
switch. I could not connect to it via the 9.6 KB port. As it turns out, the 
problem is up the tower as the SWR is infinity. There is a spare antenna on 
the tower but we did not have the proper jumpers/adapters to connect to it. 
Hopefully by tomorrow, the backbone LAN will be back on the air. The VHF 
port worked fine as it connected to W1NPR with no trouble.

We did look around the room and discovered that there is a T3 (yes, T3) 
connection in place. Eddie, K4JP, will see what it will take to get 
permission to utilize the high speed internet. If we get the connectivity, I 
believe we have another site for a Linux box.
