Simple: Look at this. http://www.winlink.org/B2F.htm IF6FBB site lists the
earlier B1F. Both have been used on HF/VHF/UHF Packet for years now. But,
Skip has no personal grudge there.

Why doesn't that surprise me.

Now I'm a distracter? Mimic? I thought I was bringing what was going on to
your attention?

I most certainly do. 16 years I have run a FBB bbs. I have learned a little
in that time.

Well, I think you took me wrong Bud. I wasn't doing any nay saying OR
distracting here. Just trying to keep you informed. You didn't have to
resort to calling me names. Sorry you took me wrong.

Well, I don't want to get with the Winlink program if that's what you mean.
It might be someone's cup of tea but it just doesn't do anything for me.
This thread wasn't started to get in a debate with you over WinLink and the
likes. As I said, I was just telling you what was going on out there. I
guess I should have kept it to myself. Like you told me a couple of months
ago. My packet BBS is still good for a "link check".
I think it's time to stop tying up all this "link check" equipment and move
on to something else.
