Just to to climb the tower and replace the antenna.

Doug:  Yep.  After Katrina,  I have become convinced that as the DEC I need
to develop a digital capability within the Capital District.  Hence,  I have
scheduled a meeting for this Friday at 7 p.m. at the Tallahassee Fire
Training Center off Municipal way (It is near TCC and behind the fire
station on the corner  of Appleyard and Pensacola). If you could be there
that would be great.   Your obvious expertise would be a big plus to lend
some credibilty to what I have to say, and probably correct the mistakes I
will make.  Paul,  KJ4G, is going to be there and talk about Echolink.  I am
also going to demonstrate packet, APRS,  PSK-31, and maybe SSTV.  The goal
of the meeting is to develop some interest in digital communications and to
agree to have a net using one or more of the available digital modes.
Surprisingly,  there are probably at least a dozen hams who have expressed
an interest and plan to be at the meeting.  I was, frankly,  amazed at the
number of people willing to come.  Unfortunately,  Don, W4GCW, had a prior
committment and can not make it.  So,  I hope to see you there, if possible.
