[FADCA] Building Blocks

I just finished testing the 5th build of the FPAC CD. It uses a script
that creates/edits the telpac.cfg file so I can initialize a one ax25
port and have a Telpac node on line in abt 15 min. FPAC comes up about 5
min later.. That depends on how much smerffing around I have to do to
get the fpac.abc files in place.
I haven't tested the fbb bbs, but that is included on the disk.
Here's the bad part. If you need to install something other than a one
port w/ 6pack TNC you have to tweek the ax25. The ax25-config script is
a near disaster when it comes to our situation. I'm toying with an idea
that supplies a Block of code for different types of ports and allows
the sysop to edit the block and insert it into ax25-up. I've been
collecting examples of basic ports. So far I have two types of KISS. One
for BPQ KISS and one for Tnc2 KISS. Then I have 6 pack and AXIP. That
should cover 99% of the requirements. Do we need Baycom or DRSI ports?
My current effort is getting a USB adaptor to work. I can get one
attached as a 6pack and talk to it, but the ptt don't activate. Anybody
got any ideas as to how to set up a USB adaptor?
