I'm top posting here.... please excuse that sin (should be 8 Deadly Sins
instead of 7).

Three things:

    1) Parking: Please park in the lot that faces Appleyard Dr. If you are
driving south on Appleyard drive from Tennessee St or from Pensacola St, as
soon as you pass the fire station on your left, take the first street on
your left, this is Municipal Way (if you been to jail before, you will know
this road). Then your next left (about 25 feet is the parking lot entrance).
If you need directions, call on the radio on the frequencies indicated
below). If you go through a GATE and see BIG RED TRUCKS, you are in the
wrong entrance. If the parking lot overflows (which would actually be nice!)
I will be able to park the overflow in a designated area.

    2) I have a CD from the FADCA,  http://www.fadca.org, Technical
Conference from April 30 2005, that has most of the programs that we have
talked about from the first digital meeting and also the on-line EchoLink
conference. I will be happy to make copies for everyone that is coming to
the digital meeting on November 25th. But I need a headcount on who is
coming so I know how many disc to make if you are interested in one. This
will save some time in downloading these from the Internet. So I need to
know by Wed at 5PM (because of Turkey Day) if you would like a copy (I don't
think that BUD will mind!)

    Just send a one-liner email to mailto:kd4moj at arrl.net to indicate you
want a CD. I will try and make a few extras...

    3) If you happen to know a ham who "might" be interested in digital
comms, please pass the word. They may not know what the heck a TNC is (or
packet, or SEDAN or APRS)  but this is a learning experience know matter if
you got licensed yesterday or 50 years ago (like Theo,Paul,Bud et al.)! So
spread the word!

Sorry for the brief notice.
Paul, KJ4G, is with me as I write (his fault)!

Reviewed all responses, and went over availability with Russ Oder, who will
be doing the training.

Class is scheduled for Friday evening, November 25, 7:30pm eastern time.
We will run 2 x 40min sessions with a break between.

We have the option of continuing into a 3rd 40min session that evening.

Class will be held at Tallahassee Fire Training facility.  Just south of
Pensacola St. on Appleyard (same place as the digital class we had last
time).  Prudent parking.  Do NOT block ingress / egress to facility.

For final guidance (evening of) we'll use 146.655 and 442.850  or 443.400
(if it's up).
