Ed Crowell says 145.030 in his application for coordination.
He also says, "This node is registered with Winlink.org on the Telpac.aspx
page. It has been operating under the guidance of Bud Thompson, N0IA, since
last November. He is still trying to get the Clermont Switch operating so
we can determine where this Telpac Node should operate. Our idea is to use
the 145.030 LAN to operate WE0D-10 and W5TWR-10 with K4GBB all accessible
through the Node at Lake Panasoffkee. We hope to put up an FPAC Switch
somewhere in the area (?Wildwood PD) to provide service to the Ocala area
which recently lost their ROSE Node."
Bud and Charlie and Ed my concern is, is the VHF frequency starting to cover
too large an area?
Ed says his network connection is, "radio 1 network connect: to KI4DYE-9 at
Lake Panasoffkee--145.030" but I don't have that device in the database. All
I have for Lake Panasoffkee is, "W4OE Digi L Sumpter Co. ARES Lake
Panasoffkee 144.930 5" Note it is a digi based on what I have been
provided.
We need an application for coordination for KI4DYE.
Ed did not submit a UHF frequency for networking. He has two choices
between K4GBB and KA0OXH and what ever will be a SW network connection by
radio to Tampa or another intermediate point. Of course the Telpac Node can
be coordinated because it has the Telnet connection to the Winlink system.
However, it does not have a radio connection the Layered network.
This is what the database has for Clermont:
KA0OXH FPAC C KA0OXH Clermont
145.650 5
KA0OXH NODE Y Dan Babilla KA0OXH Clermont 145.650 5
KA0OXH NODE C Dan Babilla KA0OXH Clermont 430.550 5
This is what it has for Ocala:
KQ4PP ROSE Y KQ4PP Ocala
145.030 7
KQ4PP ROSE Y KQ4PP Ocala
223.42 7
KQ4PP ROSE Y KQ4PP Ocala
446.075 7
This is what it has for K4GBB devices:
K4GBB BBS Y K4GBB Cedar Cove
145.030 7
K4GBB Rose Y K4GBB Citrus Springs
145.030 7
K4GBB Rose Y K4GBB Citrus Springs
223.420 7
K4GBB BBS Y K4GBB Cedar Cove
446.075 7
K4GBB ROSE Y K4GBB Citrus Springs
446.075 7
Thanks
