There is a LOT of info on the FADCA web site Burt. There are all kinds of
packet articles that you can read to learn about what we are doing...

On the web site go to coordination database information
and look at the database and look at the stuff for District 6. This will
give you a idea of what is in your area.
You can also drop Free a note who is in your back yard and he can get you
up to speed.
mail at fcrosby.com is his email address.
>Secondly: What features does our network offer?
Have you joined the FADCA listserver yet? That would be the place to put
that out as you will get MUCH better info that what I can give you.

Yes Free w1npr runs a Telpac node in your area. It is the Telpac that you
really want to connect to for what you want to do.
On the web site www.fadca.org click on the Telpac node button and it will
give you a list of ALL the telpac nodes.
Free's node info from the list is 11
<http://www.findu.com/cgi-bin/find.cgi?call=W1NPR-WL>W1NPR-10 145.090
26.92383 -82.35733 00:00:44:57 This is right on the web site.
Then you can click on the Florida telpac nodes and get the list of nodes
running in Florida.
>Fourth: What frequency is the network on?
It depends on the area, from the database it show's your area on
District - 6

The above is what is listed in the Database. The database is only as good
as the people keeping it updated. If the call on wb4njv has changed as you
say, Please do us all a favor and get them to go to the FADCA web site and
fill out the proper paperwork. Just like with the FRC, we need to have the
database up to date so we know who is who and where. This only goes for
nodes/switches/bbs's etc.
If the sysops don't send in their coordination paperwork then we can't
update the database and people like you have these questions.
