I added this to the fpac list so that Bernard and others could see it and
respond to any thing that you are doing.

Sounds like you have a plan, as soon as you are ready for me to
try to test the link to you holler and we will give it a start.

With regards to the translation program sounds like you are moving
right along. And it sounds like that you are probably at this point
doing the best of both worlds with regards to how to handle the
additional data that is needed for the fpac.conf file.

With regards to the re-master I believe that Bernard has also been
working on cleaning up things, he has provided some corrections
with regards to some of the files.

One of the things that we need to do is make sure that we keep the
need to go in and add symlinks and other things due to differences in
packaging, to a minimum. Bernard has been working on that and may
have some more observations in that sense.

You guys probably should take that up direct with each other so as to
be able to get that piece down.

Also on the re-master, I think that it would be good to set it up such that
it is very clear as to what GUI's can be loaded, and of course there are
cases where they just are not needed and that needs to be clear too.

I find for most switch and other apps of this type that FluxBox is a very
good and small window manager and does not demand a lot of resource
if a windowing environment is needed.
