Virgil,
I see that you went through a similar route that I went through I hope you
got your money back as I did not. Indeed my company was interested in
using the product commercially and had the developer taken the proper
position he could have made some additional money off of us for a cmcl
product.

If you want a simple machine to just handle the telpac node app and have
a spare PC setting around, we could put Knoppix AFU on it and put the
telpac app on it so that you could access it that way. Also remember that
we have a TelPac app running here in Tampa on the network you can
reach it by the following methods
C kp4djt-10 v kc5qcn-9 813626
or
C TELPAC v kc5qcn-9 813626
Either one will get you the telpac app on the linux switch. I am sorry that
you had such a time with the AGWPE thing, but guess we are in a minority
as most have not had too many issues, ohh my other issue that I had with
AGW PE was that it would consistantly cause a BSOD when we stressed
it a bit... I.e. sending service orders and othe high volumn traffic through it
would cause it to abend and take the whole OS (WinNT) down... We were
never able to get resolution to that either. Turned out better to put a linux
box in front of the NT box and use the kernel ax25 stuff instead all the linux
box did was function as a router/protocol converter in order to get from AX25
to IP. Linux box was happy and the NT box was happy...
