No I am not having it here at home it is on your machine that I am having
the problem. I am really befuddled at it, maybe my shot at it was too
easy.
I also am not sure how you set up your machine there. The funny thing is
that for instance when I do a who -u here is what I get on my machine...
root at fpac-dev:/etc/ax25# who -u
root tty1 Jun 5 15:34 old 606
root tty2 Jun 6 09:14 old 607
root ttyp0 Jun 15 14:41 . 31352 (192.168.1.202)
root ttyp2 Jun 15 23:01 00:13 31940 (192.168.1.203)
fpacuser ttyp0 Jun 15 00:22 . 29902
root at fpac-dev:/etc/ax25#
But if I do the same thing on yours I get a little bit different view...
root at fpac:/home/fpacuser# who -u
root :0 Jun 15 05:38 ? 451
root pts/1 Jun 15 23:13 . 2739
(rrcs-24-129-134-206.se.biz.rr.com)
fpacuser pts/1 Jun 15 07:54 . 1419
root at fpac:/home/fpacuser#
Looks like I have a zombie fpacuser running too. Going to try to kill it.
I think I did that when I did a login from a console cmd line...

Again, please do not do another account it is already in there, it
should toss you
out anyhow, but it may just re-create it and then I will have a
directory full of
X junk...

To paraphrase my flight instructor;
"the only dumb question is the one you DID NOT ask resulting in my going
out and having to identify your bits and pieces in the midst of torn
and twisted metal."
