I think that bud was compiling it and free was just putting the data on the
map. There should be a excel spread sheet on the web site for this. Correct
me if I'm wrong bud.
We weren't using the TRUE lon/lat on a lot of the sites so it would be
skewed a bit. This way we don't have to worry about site security.
We are using whatever the people that sent the information in wanted it to be.
bud, are you still up to the game to update the map info??
I belive from what Free said he might be able to do the upload to the page
from wherever he is on vacation!!!
This also goes along with what Russ has been asking. We MUST have everyone
send in NEW coordination paperwork for their sites so we can get the
database true to what it should be and drop all the dead wood.
I've only seen a few come through here this year from what I remember... It
could be more!!
There are several reasons for this. The main one is we would like the new
database manager to start out with good data and not have to start from
scratch for the most part like Russ had to.
The second is for EMCOMM purposes.
If you know of a device that should be in our database in your area PLEASE
get with the owner and have them submit NEW paperwork for it. We are going
to get to the point just like the FRC that we DROP anything that isn't
updated.. It is past time for this to happen...
Enough about that...
Think about it .....
A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
A: Top-posting.
Q: What is the most annoying thing on usenet and in e-mail?
