Virgil,
There are hundreds of working installations. You must have clobbered
something in the setup.
Un install Telpac.
Do a registry search for Telpac and delete the Telpac directory (use
regedit) the directory is under "VB and VBA settings" This will give you a
clean (virgin) install.
Now try and re install. You have to set up your .aps files as described in
the docs. The recommended way is to use AGWPE but that is a little harder to
set up but also described in the docs.
If you cannot get it to initialize send me all your settings and your .aps
file (if you are not using AGWPE).

After my stay in the hospital first of the year I now once again am trying
to
set up Telpac.
Today I downloaded the latest version (I hope) and installed it.
Comm. check on the TNC is ok. When I try to initialize I get the message:
Could not save settings in registry.
I am running Windows 98 with a KPC3 TNC.
What do I do next?
