Are you running that as an FPAC switch?  If so I'd like a copy of your 
ax25-up file.

I have tried KISS and XKISS - so far with erratic decoding of incoming 
packets to the switch and almost no decoding of outgoing packets to the 
user.

Actually, now at 0925 Wednesday it is decoding incoming packets pretty 
good.. but when it responds no Joy on the user end.
