In one hand you have Linux, in the other you have the source, it is just a
question of someone looking at it and seeing what is needed to do so.
Indeed it should be able to do so. All it is doing now is calling a app
called mailbbs (type it at the command line and it will show you what
you have to do in order for it to send a message from a file.

Look in fpac.sh as that is where it is all set up.

There is a mail command that will allow you to send and receive mail
indeed it is what you use to look at system notifications, you could replace
the mailbbs command with it and probably some changes in the fpac.sh
script you could be up and running with e-mail.

Oopps, I did not see it in the ORL switch, Charlie, did mail get pulled out?
How does it send you system notifications?? It must have got removed
at some point because I do not think I have seen a linux system that did
not have it running. If you bring it up you can have it capture the data you
want and e-mail it to you.
