Paul,
It is the radio that is built into the unit. I will have to get a watt
meter on it and
see if that is the problem. I hear it quite well around the area, but
it does not
seem to be hitting the nearest digi. I changed the call and path in the vehicle
to the same call and path as the sensor, and dropped the power in the radio
to 1 watt and it hit the digi just fine (that is why you may have seen a frame
from kp4djt with no position data) so I know that it should be heard, next step
is to check power and use another antenna on the device. I will do that
tomorrow.
