[FADCA] AX25 on DSL

Last night I down loaded Linux DSL (Damned Small Linux). It is a
Debian/Knoppix distro pruned & compressed into 50Mb. I put it on a CD
and took it home. I played with it on a 400Mhz Athlon and was impressed.

This morning I dragged the CD back to the Lab & installed it on a 1 Geg
HD. The process was sooo easy that it was scary! I setup SSH and went
back to my Workstation.

Over here from MyWS I logged in, started up apt and updated the listing.
I had a bit of a pbm identifying & installing the ax25 packages (tools &
apps), but a 2nd cup of coffee took care of that. If I can get the FPAC
pkg I will be one busy camper! None of the scripts are on this HD. They
just couldn't fit ax25 support into 50Mb! A look at the HD's free space
tells me that I have only used 170 of the 800Mb.

There are some good utilities in DSL distro... including one called
MyDSL. This is supposed to write a CD with all your coustomizations.
Is this what I'm looking for? HELL YES!
