I am sorry to hear that the location at the hospital appears to be going
away. I don't know who has access to the disaster planning committee at the
hospital and Emergency Management In Marion County, but St. Johns County is
working on installing Packlink and Telpac between the Hospital and the
County EOC.
I suspect that the hospital in Marion County and Emergency Management may
not be aware of or the value of Winlink, Paclink, and Telpac for emergency
EMail. Who has met with them that is familiar with a working system?
What is the status of Lake County and Sumpter County (neighbors to Marion)?
Clay County (a neighbor to the North) is working on establishing additional
Telpac Nodes and expanding the capability of Email by Ham Radio.
Marion County is critical to opening the central Florda to North Central
Florida corridor for Packet, Winlink and EMCOMMS.
