I just spoke with John, KK4LI, and he stated that the tower located at his
shop fell during Hurricane Jeanne. This is the location of the FPAC switch
in Lake Placid.

John stated that it would be several weeks before he had service restored
and that the antennas would be at a lower level. If this is the case, the
radio at K4OKE will need to be repaired/changed. With the reduced power
output (less than a watt) at K4OKE, the link between Lake Placid and
Okeechobee will become useless. We need to find a volunteer who will tackle
this important project.
