I will take my rocks, but I do not think you looked real hard at what I said.
I am saying that there is a posibility of doing a CD that would run in
a machine,
it would deal with the KISS TNC issue because AX25 is native to LINUX,
it would be able to emulate windows for the windows part, and allow a
user to not have to do all of the things these guys fear. Most of all not
touch their machines.
I am going to be trying to work on it while I try to get back on the FPAC
Linux thing as we will need such a CD as a install for that type of operation.
I join with the other person in refusing to use AGW and pay his userous
price for his product, If it would not hang up or at least worked and did those
things that TNOS both under Windows AND LINUX has done for years
I would accept paying a reasonable amount for it. But what he is getting
now for something that hangs up the machine or causes BSOD's is not
my idea of code that I am going to pay for. I gave him $25 once and am
not going to give him another cent for his code, particularly when the
response I got for asking to be able to do connected mode IP was that
"you do not need it", how does he know what we need? I would have
thought of helping a bit but his attitude was real sucky.
Seems someone could get the TNOS code and use that to build the AX.
25 interface for windows. If I could write code I would love to do it, but
I am not a programmer.
With this I shall crawl back into my hole and watch. Y'all enjoy!
