sumter county hit hard  to be this far inland and to take the brunt likre this 
 in my 55 years of swatting skeeters i have never seen the winds stay that high this far inland  with a slow moving storm from the atlantic side
guld  hurricanes are worste for us because oof the distance to the water.
 no eletric running on backup generator  lving in th moter home so we are the luckuy ones the house down the street took a hit from a large oak tree looks like a total loss    we are alive and no injuries  so we are among the lucky ones 
  take care and may god bless everybody and keep us from harms way we got ivan the terriable slipping into the picture now so its anot over

Thank You bud,

Well the storm is apon us here in Fort Pierce. We are having winds 
sustained at about 35 mph at this time. It will be building for the next 
day or so with the speed it is at right now so I'll just ride it out. Being 
here at work is a very safe place to be. Don't know how long it will be 
after it is all over before I can make it to the house.
