Did it do something like this
C W4MIN V KC5QCN-9 863494
                                    ^ Input ignored
If it did so, then it must be a Kantronics TNC, I thought that they had fixed
that but perhaps they have not. Kantronics TNC code required at least one
alpha in the address fields or it would barf on the connect string, the original
fix was to use a later 'O' vice zero or a 'I' vice one when the NNX codes used
a 0 or 1 in them but now that they can be almost anything it no longer works.

If Kantronics has not fixed this, we need to tell them or make it well
known that
their product is not compatible with the network.

All other TNC products will work just fine, this is a singularly
Kantronics product
issue.
